Jonah 2:5-7

^5 (A)Water encompassed me to the ^[a]point of death.
The ^(B)deep flowed around me,
Seaweed was wrapped around my head.
⁶ I ^(C)descended to the base of the mountains.
The earth with its ^(D)bars was around me forever,
But You have ^(E)brought up my life from ^[b]the pit, Lord my God.
⁷ While ^[c]I was ^(F)fainting away,
I ^(G)remembered the Lord,
And my ^(H)prayer came to You,
Into ^(I)Your holy temple.
